How many hours of education are required for a WA broker license?

Applicants are required to complete 90 hours of pre-licensure coursework before being able to submit a real estate broker license application and receive approval to take the state license exam.

Once your application is complete and you have passed the state real estate broker license exam, you will be issued an active real estate broker’s license and will be able to begin practicing real estate in Washington as long as you have a designated broker and brokerage affiliation. If not, you will be issued an inactive broker’s license at the time of your application
